iAmanah provides digital tools to help users organise and understand information relevant to Islamic legacy and estate planning in Malaysia.

Depending on the features available to your account, iAmanah may help you manage:

• Personal and family information.
• Assets and liabilities.
• Preliminary Faraid analysis.
• Wasiat planning.
• Hibah planning.
• Estate-planning reports and explanations.
• Documents stored in the Digital Vault.
• AI-assisted planning insights.

iAmanah is a technology platform. It is not a law firm, financial or tax adviser, trustee, executor, religious authority or Syariah Court.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, calculations, reports, documents and explanations generated through iAmanah are preliminary planning information.

Islamic estate planning depends on individual circumstances, family relationships, asset ownership, applicable Malaysian law and Syariah requirements.

Faraid analyses, Wasiat and Hibah planning, generated reports and AI-assisted explanations should be independently reviewed where appropriate by qualified legal, financial, tax or Syariah professionals and relevant Malaysian authorities.

You should not rely solely on iAmanah to:

• Determine final legal or Syariah entitlement.
• Execute a legally binding Wasiat, Hibah or other instrument.
• Transfer ownership of assets.
• Administer or distribute an estate.
• Make irreversible legal or financial decisions.

Professional verification and proper execution of relevant documents remain the user’s responsibility.

iAmanah may provide preliminary Faraid calculations based on information recorded in your account and the rules implemented within the platform.

The accuracy of the analysis depends on the completeness and accuracy of information provided, including family relationships, eligible heirs, assets, liabilities and applicable estate obligations.

Some circumstances may require additional legal or Syariah interpretation that cannot be determined automatically.

System-generated Faraid results must therefore be treated as preliminary until appropriately verified.

iAmanah provides tools to assist users in recording and organising Wasiat and Hibah planning intentions.

Completing a workflow or generating a report or document through iAmanah does not by itself guarantee that an arrangement is legally or Syariah valid, enforceable or properly executed.

Validity may depend on matters outside iAmanah, including asset ownership, beneficiary eligibility, witnesses, documentation, execution requirements and individual circumstances.

Users remain responsible for obtaining appropriate professional advice and completing any required verification or execution outside the platform.

You are responsible for ensuring that information provided to iAmanah is accurate, complete and reasonably current.

You are also responsible for:

• Protecting your account credentials and devices.
• Safeguarding your Digital Vault passphrase.
• Reviewing information before relying on calculations or reports.
• Maintaining independent copies of important legal and estate documents.
• Keeping your planning information updated when your circumstances change.

You must not:

• Impersonate another person.
• Knowingly provide false or misleading information.
• Attempt to access another user’s account, workspace or documents.
• Upload information or documents you are not authorised to use.
• Introduce malicious code or interfere with platform security.
• Attempt to bypass access, subscription or security controls.
• Use iAmanah for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.

Where you provide information about family members, heirs, beneficiaries, executors, witnesses or other persons, you are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate basis or authority to provide that information.

The Digital Vault provides a protected area for storing documents and information relevant to your legacy planning.

Access to the Digital Vault may require a separate Vault passphrase in addition to your iAmanah account credentials.

You are responsible for protecting your Vault passphrase and should not disclose it to unauthorised persons.

iAmanah should not be used as the sole repository for original or important legal, financial or estate documents. You should maintain independent copies of documents that you may require outside the service.

iAmanah may use artificial intelligence to provide explanations, summaries, identify missing information, generate preliminary reports and suggest planning next steps.

AI-generated output may contain errors, omissions or interpretations that are unsuitable for your circumstances.

AI output does not constitute legal, financial, tax or Syariah advice.

Where rules-based calculations such as Faraid analysis are provided, AI-generated explanations do not independently determine the underlying calculation.

Important conclusions should be reviewed against your actual circumstances and, where appropriate, verified by qualified professionals.

iAmanah provides free and paid access to different platform capabilities.

The current paid subscription and applicable price, subscription period and included features are displayed before payment.

Payments are processed through an authorised payment service provider. Payment information may therefore also be subject to the provider’s applicable terms and privacy practices.

A paid subscription becomes active following successful payment verification and remains available for the applicable subscription period.

Subscriptions do not automatically renew unless an automatic-renewal option is expressly introduced and accepted by the user. Users may renew an eligible subscription through the renewal option provided by iAmanah.

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise at purchase, fees already paid are generally non-refundable.

We may change subscription plans, features or pricing prospectively. Changes will not reduce an already-paid subscription period without appropriate notice or remedy where required by law.

We aim to keep iAmanah reliable and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Access may occasionally be affected by maintenance, software updates, security incidents, infrastructure failures, third-party service interruptions or events outside our reasonable control.

We may improve, modify, replace or discontinue platform features as iAmanah evolves.

Where a material change affects a paid service, reasonable notice will be provided where appropriate.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect iAmanah, its users or the security of the service.

This may include suspected:

• Unauthorised access.
• Fraud or misuse.
• Attempts to bypass security controls.
• Unlawful activity.
• Material violation of these Terms.

We may also take action where required by applicable law or a competent authority.

Users may stop using iAmanah or request account deletion, subject to applicable legal, transaction, security and data-retention requirements.

The iAmanah name, software, platform design, interfaces, technology and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.

You remain responsible for information and documents that you provide to iAmanah.

Reports and planning documents generated for your account may be used for your personal legacy and estate-planning purposes.

You must not copy, reverse engineer, resell, commercially exploit or attempt to reproduce iAmanah or its proprietary technology except where permitted by applicable law or authorised by us.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, iAmanah is not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on incomplete, inaccurate or preliminary information provided through the service.

This includes consequences arising from:

• Incorrect or incomplete user-provided information.
• Missing or incorrectly recorded heirs or family relationships.
• Incorrect asset, liability or ownership information.
• Preliminary Faraid calculations.
• Wasiat or Hibah planning.
• Invalid or improperly executed documents.
• Decisions made without appropriate professional verification.
• Third-party services outside iAmanah’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Malaysian law.

Your use of iAmanah is also governed by our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy.

These documents explain how personal information, cookies and similar technologies are handled when you use the service.

We may update these Terms when iAmanah services, technology, subscription arrangements or applicable requirements change.

The latest version will be published on the iAmanah website together with the updated effective date.

Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate.

Your continued use of iAmanah after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those Terms, subject to applicable law.
